Johann Quantz (1697-1773) was a German flutist and composer, famous in his day for his playing. He composed many flute concerti and sonatas, and a treatise titled "Playing the Flute". This lyrical piece is arranged for a trio of violin, viola and cello. Accessible to late beginners to early intermediate (with third position skills) and beyond.
