Guiseppe Tartini, (1692-1770) an Italian, was a violinist and wrote many works featuring this instrument. He is most well known for writing the violin sonata commonly called the "Devil's Trill". This pleasing, brisk movement from one of Tartini's Trio Sonatas is fun to play for all. Some third position but the rhythms are easy and often in unison with another part. Perfect for beginning intermediate students, amateurs and professionals.
