C.P.E. Bach (1714 - 1788) was one of J.S Bach's 10 children. His godfather was George Telemann. He received his musical training from his father, and was highly respected in the 18th century by many well known composers, such as Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven. The majority of his compositions are for keyboard. This is an intermediate baroque duo for two violas, amd is ideal for intermediate students, adult amateurs and professionals. This arrangement is based on the Duo for two Clarinets, and includes both the Adagio and Allegro movements.
